The Hard REBOOT

The world has come to a reset. The world, a giant distributed super computer, was built several billion years ago, by ‘no one’.

This ‘no one’ installed various software which were used to run endlessly on this monolith hardware called ‘Earth’. As the users of this computer evolved into smarter beings, they turned negligent and unknowingly installed several malware on their computer.

The computer slowed, crashed and showed poor results in performance. User didn’t care until the day arrived when computer got a germ attack. This germ started deleting all important documents and the computer was fast approaching extinction.

For the first time, users were furious. They criticized themselves for being so irresponsible users of the system. They started talking to their friends and wider community, who were following the same patterns of irresponsibility until now, on how to be more responsible and good users.

The good part was that these users started appreciating the small gifts of service which they took for granted. However, they still didn’t understand that the computer needed a hard reboot. Reset the factory settings and let the computer heal and go back to its most recoverable state.

What is this recoverable state?

  • The ‘ozone’ layer needed a reset
  • The pollution and high CO2 levels needed a reset
  • The flora and fauna needed a reset
  • Birds needed a reset
  • Animals needed a reset (less consumption and killing and farming of animals)
  • Economy needed a reset from the ever-evolving false bubble
  • And the human psychology needed a reset from overthinking and selfishness and over capitalism and over consumption of resources
