Standing on the Shoulders of Giants!
How do you describe the feeling of standing before those who’ve inspired you for decades—your teachers, who once shaped you, now applauding you with pride? You can’t.
Some feelings can’t be put into words—only felt and treasured. That’s exactly what I experienced when I returned to Delhi University a few months ago. A room packed with excited students (and even more lining up outside!), all eager to dive into tech and the future. I wanted to hug each one and say—We got this! Stay curious, stay humble, stay strong!
One of the most popular questions from a 3rd-year Computer Science student was:
How do you keep up with the latest tech trends?
My answer—Read. Listen. Surround. Teach.
* Read voraciously (200+ books on my Kindle!)
* Listen to great podcasts
* Stay in the company of learners
* Teach what you learn—it’s the best way to grow!
Now, I’d love to hear from YOU! How do you stay ahead in tech?
* Podcasts & YouTube deep dives
* Online courses & certifications
* Networking & tech events
* Hands-on projects & experimenting
Drop your picks in the comments! Or, share a back to college moment! Love to hear your thoughts!
A huge thank you to the incredible faculty Prof Vinita Jindal, Prof. Richa Sharma, & student organizers—it was an honor to share, learn, and connect with the next wave of tech leaders!
